Hans Stepper began his journey in his father’s optical shop in Stuttgart, opened in 1936. Encouraged by frame manufacturer Metzler, he pursued frame design, moving to Finland to work with Instrumentarium, where he honed his skills and deepened his expertise.

Since 1970, STEPPER EYEWEAR has combined German engineering with a deep understanding of fit, comfort, and design to create eyewear that truly feels as good as it looks.
